Sample funding landscape

Where emerging
filmmakers actually win.

The funds below explicitly value emerging voices over established fame. These are the programs Fund Studio targets when we engineer a grant strategy. Recipients listed are publicly announced 2020–2025 awards used to illustrate the ecosystem — not Fund Studio clients.

The strategy

How we help unknown
filmmakers get picked.

Funds like Jerome, Sundance, Chicken & Egg, SFFILM and IDA score applicants on specifics: stage of career, identity, region, the urgency of the story, the originality of the form. Famous filmmakers rarely score well on all five.

Our job is to read each program's published criteria as if it were a contract, then engineer an application that answers every clause. No padding, no filler, no chasing prizes the filmmaker is structurally ineligible for.

That is the foundation. The award is the inevitable result.
